Spruce Cafe, located right on Spruce Avenue? Won't forget that name! Open every day of the week (I enjoy not having to try to remember or look up if a particular eatery is open or not before I go there), and for at least nine hours everyday, Spruce Cafe is a favorite go to spot for me to stay caffinated. Spruce has a wider selection of food than what is shown online--a few different croissant and sandwich--so don't be afraid to come in if you're feeling like satisfying your sweet tooth with some tiramisu or cheesecake! Ambiance is very chic and modern, and is designed in the minimalist vein. The service is great, and I've always been welcome and happy to be here; you would think that's a given, but I'm thinking of a few frech pastry shops where I was looked down on for asking 'dumb questions.' That's not the case here; keep up the great work!

lots of space and seating to sit and do work/study! great lighting. also has a large outdoor area with tables and benches. staff was very friendly. I got the coconut matcha latte and a savory ham and egg danish type of pastry. the coconut matcha latte wasn't my favorite, wish the matcha was a bit stronger, not sure how well coconut and matcha complement. I really enjoyed the pastry, really delicious and the staff told me that they make their pastries in house!!! def recommend coming to check out this cute spot. I would def come back and hopefully get to try their delicious smelling coffee next time!!

The cappuccino was good! Tiramisu was also pretty good, nice texture and flavor. Would like to try out more items next time!

My boyfriend took me here while we were getting some work done and I really loved the atmosphere that Spruce has to offer! It's very modernized, white interior with natural light coming from the ceiling. We both got lattes, mine was a raw honey latte and my boyfriend got their matcha. I really enjoyed the taste of the raw honey coming through, and the matcha was alright. The matcha was a bit grainy, not sure if it was the matcha or due to something else. We also got their ganache chocolate cheesecake, super delicious but it fell apart after the first bite. Sad, but would eat again fresh! Excited to try their other desserts and drinks. Nice that they offer free WiFi and street parking is very ample.

Blame it on the Spruce! Gotcha feeling loose! Blame it on the So! Gotcha in the zone! Cause i don't need Alcohol! I definitely don't need it if I can get a natural buzz of their coffee by Ritual roasters. As soon as I saw that brand on that shelf I automatically knew I was going to be buzzing out of there. I ordered the popular bumblebee, so this drink was a mixture of orange juice and espresso and it blended really well once swirled together. We also had the Havana that had condensed milk and something else I can't quite remember but it was good. I also had the cold brew topped with cold foam and this was legit. Let's just say the three drinks we ordered were on point with flavor and presentation. There's nothing like having coffee in a mug or glassware plus the service was spot on the couple times I've been. Spacious indoor and outdoor seating are also in effect. And that's my take on this buzz worthy coffee house, Peace out...

Great cafe to get work done, but the drinks are OK. Drink - 3.5/5 - Iced Rose Latte w/ Oat Milk - Good drink, but have had better rose lattes Vibe - 5/5 - Minimal look. Very clean - loved the individual white marble tables! - Parking lot w/ easy parking Customer Service - 4/5 - Good and efficient

Pretty convenient spot over in South City! Came here one day to get some studying in before visiting family in the area. Got the cranberry turkey sandwich, Havana latte, and split a pistachio ricotta cake slice with my brother, who told me that he and my younger sister had been here before. The latte was okay, the sandwich was filling and tasty, and the cake was the super star (super light and yummy) of the order list. Love that the cafe is open and minimalist, but it could definitely work with some better lighting. Staff were nice and worked fast.
